KEEPING CONTENT FRESH a goal of any webmaster POLICE CRIME FACILITATED BY INCOMPETANT/CORRUPT JUDGES? This is only a small sample of cases that have been exposed as frame-ups. The full list would run to a high proportion of all convictions for serious crimes. Policemen need convictions for the statistics of crime and as we now see they will go to any lengths to get those statistics which are basically to retain their jobs and justify their salaries and pensions. THE BIRMINGHAM 6 Paddy Joe Hill, Hugh Callaghan, Richard McIlkenny, Gerry Hunter, Billy Power, Johnny Walker In the case of the Birmingham Six, the accused were told to their faces by the policemen interrogating and brutalising them that they knew they had the wrong men, as Paddy Hill recalls. ''They said, 'We know you didn't do the bombings, we don't care who did the bombings, our job is to get a confession and get a conviction because this keeps the public off our gaffer's backs and that keeps the gaffers off our backs.' To this day, those words are burned right into my brain.'' BBC report on their release | | MEANWHILE THE REAL BOMBERS REMAINED FREE TO KEEP UP THE BOMBING CAMPAIGN IN SAFETY
THE GUILDFORD 4 Paul Hill Gerry Conlon Patrick Armstrong and Carole Richardson | 16 years in jai for these innocent men framed on confessions battered and beaten out of them by corrupt and criminal policemen and tried and sentenced by a corrupt and blinkered judge who allowed it to happen. | | MEANWHILE THE REAL BOMBERS REMAINED FREE TO KEEP UP THE BOMBING CAMPAIGN IN SAFETY THE MAGUIRE 7 Anne and Patrick Maguire, her two sons, her brother and two friends Framed on fabricated evidence by corrupt policemen in 1976 for possessing bomb making materials in their home and beaten into confessing to that. Released in 1991 after a campaign by many many concerned people both in Ireland and Britain forced the judiciary to face the facts that police lie and obtain confessions from innocent people by coersion, lies and intimidation. The judiciary itself whose job it is to oversee police actions and ensure justice is done has never been called to account for its role in allowing all this to happen under its nose. | Anne before and after prison | MEANWHILE THE REAL BOMBERS REMAINED FREE TO KEEP UP THE BOMBING CAMPAIGN IN SAFETY STEFAN KISZKO Stefan Kiszko spent 16 years in prison for the murder of Lesley Molseed and the police knew he was innocent from the start but they had badgered a confession out of the frightened man and used it to get their conviction. Now they are busy trying to frame another innocent man, Ronald Castree for that murder this time using the DNA allegation to mislead the jury and the public. Again the judge was more culpable than the lying policemen who framed this innocent man because his job was to ensure that the evidence was rock solid and there was no coersion. Kiszko's pleas that he had been intimidated fell on deaf ears and flawed evidence was put before a jury. | | MEANWHILE THE REAL MURDERER REMAINED FREE AND SAFE IN THE KNOWLEDGE THAT IT WAS SOLVED JUDITH WARD Judith Ward spent 18 years in prison for multiple murder of British soldiers on a bus before being released and exhonerated in 1992 by the court of Appeal. The West Yorkshire police never reopened the case or attempted to find the real killers. | | MEANWHILE THE REAL BOMBERS REMAINED FREE TO KEEP UP THE BOMBING CAMPAIGN IN SAFETY ANTHONY STEEL MEANWHILE THE REAL MURDERER REMAINED FREE AND SAFE IN THE KNOWLEDGE THAT IT WAS SOLVED RICHARD WEBB A young boy from Congleton only 5 feet 2 inches tall was threatened and intimidated into signing a confession to murder by a gang of corrupt policemen. The murder was committed by Billy Tracey the Real Yorkshire Ripper within two days of Sutcliffe's appeal being rejected. It was the 15th murder in that series of killings and the 15 year old victim was bitten on her breasts by him 15 times. A case of a judge who knew exactly how he was overseeing the framing and conviction of an innocent lad. | | MEANWHILE THE REAL MURDERER REMAINED FREE AND SAFE IN THE KNOWLEDGE THAT IT WAS SOLVED ROBERT BROWN Served 25 years in prison for a murder he didnt commit. The case stems from the murder of 56 year old Annie Walsh, found dead in her flat in Manchester on 31 January 1977. Annie was last seen coming home in the late afternoon on Friday 28 January 1977. One witness, Margaret Jones, said she was accompanied by a man who was "very thin and rough looking. He was in his late 20s or early 30s, and had scratch marks on his face...and looked very scruffy with shoulder length hair Afro style" In May 1977, the 18 year old Brown was arrested in a dawn raid. It took five policemen 30 hours to break him down. The 19-year-old was threatened, intimidated and refused access to a lawyer, made to strip naked and mocked about his genitals, then shown a pair of unfamiliar, blood-soaked jeans which he was told proved his guilt. By the end of this constant interrogation he cracked and signed a bogus confession. This rare, unusual and bloody crime which has no apparent motive is once again an unsolved murder and Sutcliffe will have to be considered as a suspect for this murder because of the facts that he battered Jean Jordan from Hulme later that same year more than a dozen times to the head and his motive was not robbery. A police line up of bearded men was held in an effort to identify a suspect and the man last seen with the victim had shoulder length hair and was described as scruffy. Read his letter sent in despair from prison. Pater Sutcliffe fits that profile as a scruffy thin man with Afro shoulder length hair and a man who battered several other innocent women in that area at that time as his madness developed. He was completely unknown to the Manchester police at that time. Robert's trial was held in October and that same month Sutcliffe murdered Jean Jordan in Manchester and Carole Wilkinson in Bradford on his way home from Manchester. He was known to read about the Ripper and follow matters in the newspapers as the murders progressed. | | MEANWHILE THE REAL MURDERER REMAINED FREE AND SAFE IN THE KNOWLEDGE THAT IT WAS SOLVED
